AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des Étudiants de l'Europe) is an 'interdisciplinary student organisation, present in 40 countries' with around 200 branches all around Europe, which are arranged in networks.
'La Nave' network, made by Spanish, French and Portuguese branches, prepares an annual event called RENOVE with non-formal training, induction sessions and team-building activities with the aim of motivating new members and integrating them with old members.
Brief
The Renove IV event was organised by AEGEE-Madrid and it was decided that the participants would have been split into several groups around the 'urban tribes' theme.
AEGEE-Madrid required a logo for the event that reflect its theme and its casual atmosphere.
The logo was going to be used on t-shirts for the participants. These t-shirts were going to be used to distinguish the groups during the event and as gift-souvenir for the participants eventually.
Design
I have used the mascot of AEGEE-Madrid wearing the tribe outfits to depict the theme and relaxed ambient of the event.

The resulting images can be used separately, or in the final logo, where all the mascots are arranged in a circle to connect them with the name of the event and allude its aim.
